Spending the day at home, I was checking out some historical pictures of the City. Sites familiar, but long since changed. The streets in, up and coming again, winter, parcs, canals. The photo's are by Bernard F. Eilers (1878-1951).
In the city archives you can find around 3000 negatives of his work. During the Great Depression of the 1930's he devoted his leisure time to perfecting three-colour photography.
